Governors to press Obama for shortfall help

Louisiana Republican Gov. Bobby Jindal will be among the governors in Philadelphia for a meeting Tuesday with President-elect Barack Obama.The nation's governors are meeting with the President-elect today to press their case for at least $40 billion to help pay for health care for the poor and disabled and even more for infrastructure projects.

Wave of drug violence grips Tijuana

Mexican police officers search the area where nine beheaded bodies were found in Tijuana City on Sunday. Three of nine were policemen. At least 37 people were killed over three days in the Mexican border city of Tijuana, including four children caught in shootouts and nine men found decapitated, the state attorney general said Monday.
